::For what you pay, this is a great hotel! Pros: staff at the swim up bar were very friendly. Happy hour gets you BOGO drinks. Our room walked out to steps down to the pool. The pool was clean, room was nice, and the trip to the beach was short and easy on the hotel golf cart. One gentleman who is moving soon was everywhere, and he was amazing! The guy at the beach in charge of the palm huts was wonderful, and we were able to get a hut both times we went to the beach. He even recommended where to go snorkeling after he saw a snorkel in our beach bag. Cons: front desk was slow (but it is island time!) and communication was a little tricky. Breakfast was overpriced compared to other, better food on the island. The hotel is under construction, as other reviews have mentioned, but there wasn't noise to bother us. It just looked a little trashy. Our toilet sounded like a dying whale for about 10 mins every time we flushed. We booked a king but got two queens. We didn't argue it, so I'm not sure how they would have handled that. Overall, it was a decent place and we would stay again if we were on a budget. Tl;Dr: great place for a budget stay!

::Great spot. Nice and quite, but a lot to do. All the benefits of being at the beach, without the noise. Everything was recently updated, and is super nice. Staff is very helpful too

::Good time in Aruba. Good music and pleasant outdoor ambience, just like the island life should be experienced. Get there early to not pay cover. Bring some earplugs if you love your hearing.

::My girlfriend and I recently stayed at the Mill Resort. They failed to inform us that the hotel would be under renovations during our stay. They were pretty good about keeping the noise level to a minimal. But this was not the reason for the poor review. The reason that I am upset is poor customer service. We paid for our room in full up front on the day that we arrived. They still required that we put a $150 hold on a credit card which would be refunded after our stay. This is understandable for liability purposes. But they failed to reimburse me. Even after multiple emails (with no response), and phone calls totaling in over $40 in international calling fees. Now I'm down almost $200 and still very unsatisfied.
