::Queeen Beatrix airport is the BESt airport in the entire continent (I think) the only plane I went on was southwest witch was going to Orlando and Miami sadly not anymore so how am I going to go to Florida without southwest?!

::Medium size airport. Easy to navigate through. Finding a taxi outside the airport was a bit confusing but the staff were very friendly and helpful and helped us get to the right cabbie. Departing from here is another story. There are long lines up to get through customs. But there's lots of beautiful decor to check out if you have time and enjoy the last bits of a great island.

::We booked a connecting flight through Aruba on our return to the US from Curacao. We landed with 1 hour 40 min until our connecting flight left. As the previous reviewer noted, the process to depart this airport is unusually long. We brought only carry-on luggage and asked for an escort multiple times (we were assisted through one initial line and later denied as the attendant assured us we had enough time to make the flight). It was extremely frustrating to finally make it through endless security and customs lines, locate a Delta agent who called the gate, then run to the gate to find that the terminal was locked moments prior despite their notification that we were on our way. 3 hours is accurate - you will stand in lines for at least 2 hours without any bags to check.

::Rented two vehicles without any issues. Great service, vehicles were in good shape, but they are expensive in comparison to other places. I rented two off road vehicles to find that they do not cover any damages if they are caused by going off road. Off road is considered any road that is not paved. Reality check ...many of the roads are not paved!!! Ridiculous!

::Possibly the WORST airport known to man. Avoid flying out of this airport at all costs. Flew out 1/1/2018 and if we had not arrived 3 hours early, we would have missed our plane. 1. Over 1 hour waiting to check bags at American Airlines counter. I agent handling main cabin guests, which made up over 90% of people waiting in line and 1 for priority guests. Approximately 85 people waiting. When the priority line was more that 2 people, both agents called only priority, leaving the unfortunate guests in main cabin growing increasingly frustrated. When our bag was checked, AND Paid For, they did not take care of it, they handed it back to you to carry yourself for the remainder of the 3 hour ordeal. 2. Leaving the check-in area, we waited outside; in another hour long line, for our first of 3...YES 3...security checkpoints where we had to remove shoes, be scanned and re-assemble ourselves. 3. Had to drop our own bag for customs screening, pick it up and then guess which of 2 conveyor belts to toss it onto to hopefully get it to the correct airline; no representatives there. 4. Another passport....automated...review...machines slow and uncooperative 5. Final Customs interview with agents 6. Final screening of luggage and person. Absolutely redundant, inefficient, waste of time and frustrating. 3 hours on our feet, in long lines, and absolutely no time to use the bathroom or purchase food before the 4 hour flight back home. We loved Aruba...beautiful people and environment, but we will NEVER return due to the absolutely asinine, redundant, inefficient and poorly managed airport experience. People in the airport are nice, but in absolutely no hurry, even with the awareness of many disgruntled and stressed visitors. My advice to travelers: AVOID VISITING ARUBA My advice to Aruba Airport: fix your poorly run and non customer friendly airport experience. It leaves a foul taste and ruins the beauty of your island experience.
