  When the restaurant scene skews towards a handful of seafood and beef selection Madame Janettes offered a break from the norm. Boasting an impressive selection of Belgium, German, and Dutch beers I was happy to enjoy some delicious European beer. My wife ordered the lobster ravioli and I had the vienna style schnitzel, both of which were superb. The biggest surprise was our dessert selection, The Spoon. Save some room for it and the more people you have to share the merrier, its a lot of food. And its very VERY good👍

  We visited Madame Jennetes off a recommendation from an another store owner in town. Boy they didn’t disappoint. Atmosphere is super cool. My filets were some of the best I have had and we have two of the best Steakhouses within ear shot of my home here in Ohio according to US news and World report. The combinations the Chef selected to pair with it seem odd but trust me when I say go with it. Completely amazing. The “spoon” dessert is the only way to finish the meal. Just ordered it you will thank me later. Caroline was our waiter and she was awesome. Her personality just summed up Aruba. We miss her already. She knew the menu inside and out and make a lot of tweaks to my whole family’s taste and we just went with it and I am glad we did. I will be honest its worth a trip back to come here and eat. I am not kidding its that good. This is more then 5 star review!

  I gave it a two because two out of the four meals were good and the time it took us to get our food was unacceptable. The place was closed when we arrived Saturday and I’m not sure how long it was closed before reopening on Tuesday. Anyway, four of us went Tuesday and we were seated right away even though we arrived earlier than our reservation. We placed our order and drinks and waited no lie 45 - 60 min for our food to arrive with nobody coming back to ask us if we wanted more drinks. Is this the way this restaurant is normally I don’t know because it was our first time there ? Well, I can see maybe why it was so long because two of us got the pork cordon blue which came highly recommended and I think maybe they were waiting for the meat to thaw ? Both mine and my sons couldn’t of been any drier and really no flavor. They were terrible so if you go there I don’t recommend getting that because not only are you going to wait, but you will have to wait all that time to get your meal and then not even eat it. The other two meals were very good, the surf and turf and the almond grouper. I think the waitress who was a nice girl knew I didn’t like it and said she would tell the manager. The manager did take one of the meals off no questions asked and ended up taking the other off as well. I am not one to go around complaining unless the meal wasn’t worth what we paid for it especially where not only the restaurant came highly recommended but the meal itself. We will not return

  The food was simply delicious — cute outdoor seating available. Highly recommend making reservations in advance — we did not however they were able to squeeze us in. Thank you!! Will be back

  I found the food and cocktails to be delicious. Our server was attentive, and the ambiance lovely. The flies also thought so, as they were abundant. I did not let that put a damper on a beautiful night.
